Lawn Aeration Services

Core aeration relieves soil compaction and allows air, water, and nutrients to reach the root zone. Best done in late summer/early fall for healthier turf.

Aeration is designed to reduce soil compaction, allowing more oxygen and nutrients to enter into the root system of the plant. Aerating machines pull plugs from the turf area, creating large pores that will allow moisture and nutrients to move freely through the soil.

Aeration is important for keeping your lawn healthy all year long. Aeration relieves soil compaction and improves overall turf density the following spring. We recommend you aerate your lawn once a year.

    Aeration Service

Aeration is a process designed to reduce soil compaction. Less compact soil allowing more oxygen and nutrients to enter into the root system of the plant. Our aerating machines pull plugs from the turf area, creating large pores in the turf that allow moisture, oxygen, and nutrients to move freely through the soil. We recommend starting this process in the fall for optimal results.

    Why Aeration Helps
Like other plants, grass needs water, nutrients, and air to grow strong and healthy. If the soil is compacted, the nutrients and oxygen are prevented from freely flowing. .
    When to Aerate your Lawn

For optimal results, we recommend aerating your lawn in the fall, although you can aerate in the spring time we discourage this practice, especially if you plan on applying a pre emergent crabgrass preventer.

It is also best practice to avoid aerating overly wet lawns. If we’re experiencing a period of heavy rain, we may wait an extra day before aerating.
